What is the advantage of a Digital Print over a Silk Screen Print?

Silk Screen uses the same technology for printing on a CD DVD as is used to make a T-Shirt.  Paint or Ink is pressed through a "Screen" using a devise that creates a color image by aligning dots on the media.   This limits the ability to make customizations to the print jobs without completely redoing the process. Quality is limited to the ability to create a high resolution screen, and the ability to line up the screens perfectly.

Our Digital Printer uses Digital technology to send data to the Printer.  This allows us to change the data on each individual disc as long as the background stays constant.  The data can be fed directly to the printer via a simple Excel Spreadsheet.

So, can I actually have a unique Serial Number  or other individualized data on each disc?

Yes, each CD DVD can be individualized as long as the background stays constant for each "Run". This allows your customization to be very simple.  You choose your background or send us your background image, and we apply your Customized data, Logo or Photograph.

Do you only print on Blank CD-R's or DVD-R's?

If you need your content burned or replicated (Manufacture the actual disc) we can do both for a slight additional fee.  Please contact us for a quote.

What is the advantage of a Digital Print over a Label?

Everyone has tried using Labels.  Although it is possible to use a Digital Printer to create a Label, your Disc will still look very unprofessional, and the label runs a very real possibility of "bubbling up" when exposed to heat or cold.  Paper labels can actually leave lint in your CD or DVD Rom devise.  Lint and Dust can damage an optical device like CD and DVD ROM players.

Is your Digital Print like the Ink Jet Printers I have seen advertised?

NO!  Our Digital Printers are very unique.  Ink Jet Printing on a CD or DVD produces a very low quality product.  Our Digital Printers produce a near magazine quality photo directly on your CD or DVD media. The ink that we use is very similar to the ink used in a magazine.
